Maintenance Rule - Delete Non-Charged Scheduled Doses after XX Days Fails for customer.  The maintenance rule has been enhanced to run faster.  Internal testing shows between 5 and 10 times faster.

Under Utilities / Maintenance Tools / Maintenance Schedule , at the bottom of the screen, you can setup a rule that will delete non-charged scheduled doses after a set number of days.

screen

If the rule is Active, it will run when the first user of the day logs in.

If it is Inactive, it can be run by clicking on the Do Now button.

Hann's On Software encourages you to run this rule.

When a scheduled order is entered, it is scheduled for the full amount of days up to the orders stop date.   This allows the order to appear on reports such as the MAR, Fill List, Batch IV Labels.

When the order is discontinued or the patient discharged prior to the order stop date, those scheduled times are taking up space in the database, even though they are no longer needed.

This rule deletes those non-charged scheduled doses.
