Modify the Charges Transmitted Report and the Charges Not Transmitted
Report to report NDC, NDC Quantity and Units. A new column has been
added to the report called "NDC".
Here is a sample of the Charges Transmitted Report with the new fields:
Under the NDC column, you will now see the NDC number, the NDC Quantity, and the NDC Unit of Measure. |

CURES : Controlled Substance Utilization Review and
Evaluation System
Changes for California and Ohio California:Effective July 1, 2007 report in the ASAP Rules Based Standards or ASAP 2005 v 3.0 file format.
To generate the CURES file, use the menu Charges / Export Charges, and choose File Format Cures, Cures format: California (On/After July 2007). California now requires Schedule 2,3 and 4.
To report prior to July 1, 2007, choose Cures Format: California (Before July 2007)
Ohio:Payment - Third party plan is required. The payment types are: Private Pay Medicaid Medicare Commercial PBM Ins Major Medical Workers Comp
You can assign an "Insurance" for any patient receiving an Outpatient order for a controlled substance in the Patient's Admission Data. In Ascend IP, these values can now be attached to each Insurance Company listed under the menu Utilities / Insurance Companies. You may need to create a list of Insurance Names to select from and/or modify your current list to include the Cures Type (new field).
Both Ohio and California:When you click OK to export the file, the system will generate a file in the folder specified in Output File Path with the Facility DEA#.DAT as the file name. You can modify the file name, if desired, after the following window appears:
If there is any missing data, the following window appears:
If you view the errors, you will see a list of Patient name, RX #, Error message. The errors in the list need to be addressed or the file is at risk for being rejected. Please call your Hann's On Software Customer Service Representative if you have questions regarding the new California or Ohio CURES requirements. |
