Placed this column between Acquisition Cost and Patient Charge. 6) Added the ability to run the Report with or w/o Billing Multiplier rounding. Although this doesn't change the price of the drug, it tells Ascend IP to round amounts to the nearest formulary unit (default) or billing unit, i.e. Billing Multiplier rounding. |
|
Deleted Top 500 Drugs by Doses report because of new functionality with Drug Utilization Totals report. |

Changed the way Ordering Doctor is assigned to Orders: 1) Added new Order Entry option - 'Default Ordering Doctor from Admitting Doctor' -- yes/no, defaulted to yes. 2) Added new Order Entry option - Require Ordering Doctor to complete order -- yes/no, defaulted to yes. 3) Once an Ordering Doctor is chosen on an Order Entry form, AIP will retain that Doctor on each subsequent Order as long as the user stays with that patient and doesn't choose a new doctor. 4) This also works for common orders, however, with Activate Common Orders, if anything causes the program to think the resulting order is incomplete during the process (not just physician); it will stop and require you to hit the 'next order' button from then on. |
|

|
Readmit Patient now copies Pre-Admission orders to new profile. |
|
Options, Labels/IV's: Specify default number of copies for Admission, Unit Dose and IV labels. |

| Allergies: Added 'unobtainable' and 'unknown' to allergy list (similar to NKA) |
|
Corrections: Note: Many of the corrections listed below were made in a previous version, but were not documented until the release of this version. |
| Patient Education Monographs: Now displays the name of the drug chosen. In the past, it may display the name of a similar drug, not the one chosen. Example, Warfarin may have displayed Coumadin. |
| Outpatient Order: Can now tab to Days Supply field. |
| Ignore intra-order drug-drug interaction checking now working. Add an item on the Default tab of a formulary record: Ignore Interactions List. Fixes error '9' Subscript out of range error. |
| Printing some reports, get Error 3071: Printing Continuum of Care or Patient Profile report, Error 3071 CmdPrint_Click. This was due to the Utilities / Options / MAR under the "Assign each order type to a MAR section", an item in the PRN section was not assigned a default value. Changing the null value to 0 solved the problem. This is now fixed, all sections will be assigned a default value of 0. |
| Lab: Modify Lab - Run-time error 3265 if trying to open an existing lab |
| Formulary: Delete formulary record, could still choose from new order. |
| Order Functions / Find Order / By Order Rx Number : If you enter an Rx number of a Cancelled order, the error message now states: "You can't view cancelled orders" |
| Database Tools, Backup Database fails with 3146 ODBC Call Failed, fixed |
| Fixed ability to Copy Order, was giving Error 2465 |
| Fixed problem: Readmit and Merge functions now copy Allergies/Diagnosis to target or new patient record |
| Fixed error with Charge/Credit from Fill List and MAR |
| Group Status Change All Orders : does not apply to Cancelled or Pre-admission orders. |
| Merge Profile Function will not do Clinical Checking on DC'd orders. |
| Order Stop Date: Use Auto Stop Days 1 even if patient is not assigned to a room. Auto Stop Days 1 in the Formulary is used to limit the duration of antibiotic orders and orders for other classes of drugs that must administered only for short periods. Previously, an order for a patient not in a room would use the Default Stop Days, not Auto Stop Days 1. |
| Security fix: Users with View Access to Orders should be allowed to open Inactive Order, and not have it now show as Active and Verified |
| Utilities / Options / Fill List : Fixed problem with time field being saved without colon (1600 instead of 16:00), causing errors in other areas of Ascend IP. |
|
Order Changes Log was not logging status change when old order DC'd from Clinical Review. |
|
Rewrite function would ignore Order Entry option - 'New Order Use' w/ options ("As Entered", "Drug Description 1", "Drug Description 2"). The resulting new order would always use the "As Entered" option instead of the users selection and this has been fixed. |
|
Order Function, duplicate was bringing up Pre-Admission form instead of standard order entry form. |
|
On the patient profile form, when toggling profile view from Clinical Reviews to Active/Inactive orders, if you had sorted Clinical Reviews by one of the column headings; would get [Enter Parameter Value] error. |
|
Fixed issue when Clinical Reviews encountered during order entry, the Print All button on the Clinical Review form would ignore your requests. |
|
Drug Utilization Totals report: Computation with Billing Multiplier could overflow the counter and it has been enlarged. |
|
Fixed issue, DC Order Icon produces Invalid Use of Null if no order is selected. |
|
Fixed issue where patient has two orders on Profile, one is a DC'd Inpatient Order and the second is an Active Outpatient Order. Enter ER/Outpatient/Misc charge function incorrectly posted to the Outpatient Order. |
|
Fixed issue where PRN Floor Stock IV Orders are not always placed properly on the MAR. |
|
Fixed issue during add formulary item / import FDB routines, could lose focus and create phantom formulary items. |
|
Most order functions will bring up the select patient form if patient not previously selected. You could then hit the admit button and AIP incorrectly allowed you to proceed, even if you cancelled the quick admit; not any more. |
| Orders: No Clinical Checking or prompt for labels for one time orders if Auto-DC one time orders on, has been fixed. |
| Setup Window:
1) Changed the way the form exits. The Setup form requires the Hann's On Software password to change the database information and server path. Can now close the form using the "Close" or "OK" buttons only. 2) Database password always displays "*****". |
| MAR Options: Fixed typographical error. |
| Security window: Mouse pointer hint now specifies "Change Password" |
|
Merge Profile: 1) Technicians with view only orders, charges can merge profiles. 2) Fixed issue: if I say 'YES' to merging demographics but 'NO' to copying non-duplicate allergies, Target Patient was getting assigned From Patient's non-duplicate allergies anyway. |
