Removed ability to delete user from security table. Added Archived/Inactive status to manage employee list. Added "Student/Intern" to the list of Positions that can be assigned to a User.

Added ADT Activity report to show ADT changes between two dates/times. By default, reports the last week of activity.

Added Medical Record No. as a selection criterion and to the data displayed on the Drug Utilization Report.

Added Fields used as Price Rule Criteria to Price Analysis report.

Changed Charge for Starter Doses and Charge/Credit Dose forms to make display consistent with both the actual charges and the Amount Sent displayed on the label.

If 'Include Entered and Verified boxes for new orders' is selected on the Options MAR tab, MAR Blank will also display the boxes.

Options MAR tab now allows the user to to clear times from the Column Three Start and Column Three Stop configuration areas to prevent doses from appearing in Column 3 of the MAR.

For medication safety, the Stop Date/Time for a scheduled order will either equal or be 1 minute later than the last scheduled Dose.

Added an option to the Formulary Pricing utility to export the Drug Price file in HMS format.

Removed obsolete item 'DC Stopped Orders' from Utilities menu.

If an order is written for a specific number of doses or days, the specified number will display on the MAR with the appropriate label.

Created CURES reporting routine for outpatient orders. Added Date Written to Outpatient Orders and included in CURES reporting.

Inventory Control window: Displays NDC from Formulary. If NDC is changed on the Inventory Control window, the change is also applied to the Formulary entry.

Added Formulary User Defined filter to IV to PO Conversion report.

Corrected the title displayed on the Patient Profile report. Discontinued orders now print after the active orders within each section. Also, changed Patient Profile Summary report to display up to four full lines of ingredients. Removed page break after each section on both reports.

Added special parameters in the ini file to limit the view of a satellite pharmacy to show those beds actually at satellite pharmacy. Execution is triggered only by parameters manually placed in the [Workstation] section of the Ascend.ini file.

Added User filter for Clinical Review and Clinical Statistics reports.

Excluded Archived Formulary items when matching on Charge Codes so we use the active formulary item.

Add Hot Key ("C") for Doctor field on Order Entry window for Inpatient Orders.

Made Stop Quantity fields (doses and days) 'display only' Order Entry window for Inpatient orders.

New Report: Order Renewal - prints "Renew" and Do Not Renew" check boxes on the right hand column with space for a physician's signature and date on the last page.

Auto Log-Off now brings up the Log-in screen will not shut the program down.

Department Cost Transfers: Retain user settings for cost options, source and percentage, as well as the inventory decrement options.

Minor refinements to the Batch Admission Label form; 1) Labels print one label for each active patient, no need for date filters (now disabled). 2) Also, disabled "Order types" window for batch admission labels. 3) "Catch-Up IV Labels" check box now being hidden as well.

For orders with SIG values 'x 1', 'x n days', 'x n doses', 'x n hours', etc; made it less difficult to edit the Order Start/Stop dates. Fixed a bug that prevented the Order Stop Date from adjusting automatically when Start Date was edited.

Outpatient prescriptions: added several "Verify" type enhancements: 1) Outpatient orders are part of the verify list. 2) Fields for "Entered by" and "Verified By" provided for outpatient prescription fills/refills.

Added wards to Room filter list when printing Batch labels.

Select a Patient window focus will revert to last search criteria, not always last name as before. Also, added Medical Record number as a search option.

MAR Blank report: MAR Blank for a one day MAR displays times in column headers.

Added Doctor filter to Drug Utilization Totals Report.

MAR Pain Effectiveness - created default in formulary to print _/_ for pain meds.

IV Labels - Added Facility Address to label header - required by CA State Board.

Charges Screening report: add screening for transaction dates that are +/- user-defined number of days from current system date and from Patient's Discharge date.

Manually entered Charge will be checked to ensure transaction date is +/- user-defined number of days from current system date.

Display alterations for Medication safety to meet JCAHO requirement for banned abbreviations.

HIPAA: added option to force users to change their logon passwords according to a predefined schedule.

New Report: Census Statistics report displays how many patients were in beds each day during a specified period of time and the average number of patients in beds for a day in the specified period.

Added "Use Formulary Dose vs. Order Dose" functionality to Stop Order Notices, Order Renewal, Patient Profile and Summary reports.

New Report: Inventory Purchasing History displays all Purchasing History for selected date range; does not include Department Cost Transfers.

Added Total Patient Charge on Charges Transmitted Reports.

New Prescription Quote Tool added under Charges menu item for Outpatient prescription.
