Room List Maintenance
Adding A Room
On the Utilities menu, click Room List.
Click Add Room/Bed.
In the Add a Room window, enter the room number you are adding and click ok or press ENTER.
Enter the applicable defaults for the added room.
How the program processes the defaults you select
You can elicit room-specific scheduling, admission warnings, MAR printing, etc. based on the defaults you enter. The list below describes how IP handles each default.

| Floor Stock List | Entering a default Floor Stock List will simplify the entry of Floor Stock charges for a patient by automatically displaying the Floor Stock items associated with the Room/Ward of the patient. |
| Narcotic List No | N/A at this time; future update. |
| Schedule List/Administration Times | The program references this default at order entry and schedules the order according to the Administration Times you have defined in Options. The drop down list box will display the program's default schedule list and names of additional lists you have built in Options. |
| MAR Printer | This allows you to print MAR's to a designated printer according to room number. The drop down list box will display the printers added to this workstation. |
| Multiple Patients | Default to 'no' if you want the program to warn you, while admitting a patient, that a room/bed is already occupied. Default to 'yes' if you do NOT want a warning message. |
| Auto Stop Days | If certain drugs' stop days value differ from the system level value, enter those values in the Auto Stop Days 1 and/or Auto Stop Days 2 fields in the formulary. You can specify which code (1 or 2) is used for each room/bed. |
| Auto DC orders | Check the box for select room numbers if you would like the program to automatically DC orders based on the Stop Date Grace Period set in Options...Order Entry. |

Rebuild Sort - After deleting a room number, the sort number attached to the room number is deleted leaving a gap in the numbering sequence. You can use this button to re-number so that there are no gaps in the Sort Order.
