Version 2.7.1 (1/27/2006) - View All Updates
Here is a list of new features and enhancements
- Medicare Part D eligibility added for NDC.
- Doctor Last Name truncated at 15 characters
for NCPDP 5.1 claims.
- Common order security level added to users and
groups.
- Factor type added to the inventory types.
- Delivery Receipt itemizes supplies.
- Patient location can now be assigned at the
order level.
- Clinical documents and financial notes retain
the font name and font size for RTF.
- Pending order status added. Pending orders can
be used to determine the cost of an order without having to add an active
order then discontinue the order. Pending orders do not appear on
Prescription Log reports and other order logs (Mix, Refill, Delivery, etc.)
and will not show up in billing. A pending order can later be changed from
Pending to Active.
- Inventory option added under
Utilities...Inventory...Inventory...Inventory Control to require users to
select a lot number during order entry.
- Clinical Document template screen updated to
use the same screen as other clinical documents.
- Entered By recorded for Inventory Control
records.
- Archived field added to the Pricing Contracts
table so contracts that are linked to an insurance or claim, will not be
deleted but marked as archived.
- Cost and retail fields do not show on the
inventory usage reports if the user does not access access to the financial
information.
- New Order Changes report added. You can use
this report to audit changes made to orders within a specific date range.
View the order information, along with the data before and after the change
was made.
- InterfaceRx field added to the order table.
Here is a list of things fixed
- Geriatric precaution warnings no longer
showing for all patients (regardless of age) during order entry of other
medications.
- Error 94 fixed when adding
receipts/adjustments.
- Filtering inventory reports on Enteral type
now works.
- Importing First Databank items with a % in the
strength, should correctly populate the % in the strength field.
- Delivery Receipt fixed so a patient is not
hidden if it is the same patient record between the last delivery record on
one date and the first delivery record on the next date.
- If fill start date of an order does not fall
within the effective dates of the insurance record, the order will not show
in the Ready To Bill window.
- Delivery Label prints address 2 if address 1
is blank.
- NCPDP field 307-C7 (Patient Location) now
supports 2 characters instead of trimming to just 1 character. So values
like Outpatient (Code 10) and Hospice (Code 11) are sent as 10 and 11
instead of 1.
