Here is a list of new features and enhancements
- Common Orders are sorted by group name then by common order
description.
- Default order route added to the options.
- TPN Label added with option to print attributes and
intrinsics.
- Home Health Agency filter added to the patient census
report.
- Rx Labels should now print "Initial Fill" instead
of "Refill: 0".
- Option added to use doctor user-defined fields instead of
doctor DEA number when creating the CURES export file.
- Inventory and drug usage reports now use the "Dispense
As Whole Units" and "Billing Units" when calculating usage amounts.
- Option added to bold drug name on prescription labels.
- All date on the 30-1 form print in "mm dd yyyy"
format.
- Batch Refill feature added.
- Inventory group and inventory type added to inventory
pricing rules.
- HCFA-1500 box 6 (Patient Relationship To Insured) includes a
check in the other box for any relationship other than self, spouse or child.
- Doctor user-defined fields added to HCFA-1500 box 24K.
- Doctor user-defined fields added to HCFA-1500 box 31.
- Hospitals in the doctor table are now the same hospitals
found under Utilities...Hospitals.
- The tax option is not automatically turned on when creating
a new payer.
- Inventory billing units can be customized for each payer. To
customize the billing units for an inventory item for a specific payer, go to
Utilities...Payers...Billing and add a new record.
- You can now selected which date field (admit, active or
discharged) when running the Referral List report. The admit date will give you all
patients admitted during the date criteria. The active date will give you all patients
active during the date criteria (admit date is prior and discharge date is after). And
discharge date will give you all patients discharged during the date criteria.
- Update to the TPN/Inventory Checker to scan for inventory
items that are member of a TPN Group where the TPN Group has one or more attribute sources
but the inventory item is missing values for those attributes.
- Route field added to other medications.
- Insured Id added to the insurance view on the patient
admit/edit screen.
- Added parameter prompts to the data views.
- Purchase Order Number added to the purchase order report
along with areas for approved by and ordered by signatures.
- Claim posted/unposted terminology changed to
locked/unlocked.
- New claims window displays dates in yyyy-mm-dd format to
enable proper sorting.
- Federal Tax Id added to the doctor record.
- Adjustments are sorted alphabetically when adding/editing
adjustments.
- Provider Medicaid Number now included in the X12 837
electronic claims.
- "Continued" option added to print in box 28 of the
HCFA-1500 if the claim continues on the next page.
- Warning message displayed when saving an order with
inventory items that are archived.
- Warning message displayed when saving an order with the fill
start date prior to the deliver date.
- Merging in a claim should default fields in the new charge
record to matching fields in the charges that are being merged. For example, if the
description in all the charges being merged are identical, the program will default the
description in the new merged charge to the same description as the other charges.
- When merging charge lines, the program will automatically
uncheck the charge box for charges that are merged.
- Filter added to the Inventory Counts report to only show
inventory items at the minimum quantity.
- Insured Policy Number added to the Patient Intake Summary.
- Lot number drop down in the order screen defaults to hide
lot numbers with a quantity of 0.
- Item View added to the order entry screen to toggle the
order item description from the dose to inventory description.
- Quantity View added to the order entry screen to toggle the
order item quantity from the quantity per dose to total quantity.
- Option added to the syringe label not to page feed between
labels.
- Option added to the delivery receipt to print the inventory
shelf/location.
- Option added to the delivery receipt to print the facility
name/address information.
- Orders Not Billed view added to the profile screen.
- DEA Suffix field added to the doctor record.
- Data View screen now prompts for a file name and location
before saving.

- Error 9 when canceling the merge function in a claim.
- Ascend-IV Import searches only the current facility for
matching order types in the Ascend-HI database.
- Error when updated catheter location.
- Error 13 when verifying orders.
- Inactive orders no longer display in Unbill Orders.
- Clinical Interventions report now works with user-defined
clinical intervention problems.
- NSF file format no longer removes alpha characters from the
ICD9 field.
- Adding a patient clinical review no longer defaults the data
to the prior clinical review.
- Batch refills increments the refill number.
- Patient lab order results can now be edited.
- Calculating a TPN order using a BCAA percentage.
- TPN Label now correctly reads the Include Attributes and
Include Intrinsics options.
- Orphaned records in the InventoryTPNAttributes and
InventoryGroupsLinks tables.
- HCFA-1500 image file contains is not missing the payer
address, city, state and zip.
- Patient purge screen displays date in yyyy-mm-dd format.
- The billing provider can be deleted from a claim.
- Payer options for HCFA-1500 Box 28 have precedence over the
system options for HCFA-1500 Box 28.
- When verifying inactive orders, selecting an order to verify
should remove it from the list of orders to verify.
- Prescription Log report date field widened to enable 4 digit
years to be viewed.
- Doctors screen adjusted to show the archived field.
- Delete button works for in the purchase order screen.
